Link2-Base

The Link2-Base is a wireless base radio that combines an RF transceiver with an Ethernet/LAN connection to give IP networking capabilities to in-field wireless devices, sensors and instrumentation.

The Link2-Base can be configured with many leading wireless radios for maximum compatibility with your current wireless infrastructure. The Link2-Base is powered externally by a supplied power adapter or can be power using PoE (Power over Ethernet) to allow the Link2-Base to be installed in industrial applications where direct access to a power outlet is limited.

WIRELESS VERSATILITY

The Link2-Base can be configured with a wide range of wireless radios on the 2.4GHz and 900MHz bands to provide LAN based connectivity to nearby wireless devices. Wireless protocols are that are available are ZigBee, 802.15.4, DigiMesh, 802.11bgn (WiFi), and several propriety FHSS radios. The external SMA antenna connector provides a wide selection of antenna options to expand the range of connected wireless devices.

MINI-SERVER

The Link2-Base acts a device server for the device data it receives through the wireless radio. This data can be accessed on a local area network or integrated into an existing data management system. Everything is configurable through the built-in web server using a standard web browser.

PoE (POWER OVER ETHERNET)

The Link2-Base offers true IEEE 802.3af compliant pass-through Power over Ethernet (PoE). Using PoE and the Link2-Base eliminates the need for an external power adapter.
